Abby Modell is a contemporary glass artist whose work is inspired by galactic formations, refracted light, and the infinite dimension of the universe. Through sculptural wall installations and hand-blown glass works, she explores transparency, texture, and movement using matte, mirrored, gloss, and dichroic glass combined with crystal assemblages. Metallic hues, organic forms, and ombré palettes create luminous surfaces that shift with light, expanding perception and pushing the boundaries of contemporary glass design.

Modell’s large-scale commissions include Cosmic Pearl (2025), a monumental glass and metal installation for Royal Caribbean’s Star of the Seas, and Rainbow Galaxy, acquired by the Medici Museum of Art. Her work has been exhibited internationally at venues including SOFA Chicago, Scope Miami, Art Palm Beach, and the Heclectik-Art Glass Biennial in Portugal. A Swarovski Ingredient Brand Partner, Modell is also committed to sustainability through collaboration with a zero-waste certified glass studio. Her work is held in museum, corporate, hospitality, and private collections worldwide.
