A new era of artistic vision is taking shape in Delray Beach as Drew and Mauro Pietrafesa assume leadership of one of the city’s most admired contemporary art galleries. With a shared passion for design, storytelling, and community, the couple brings a refined and forward-thinking perspective to South Florida’s evolving arts scene.

Drew, a creative entrepreneur known for his luxury jewelry brand Pietrafesa, has long envisioned creating a space where fine art and luxury design converge. Mauro, whose background spans business and culinary arts, shares that vision and brings a refined, intuitive eye for curating experiences that are both elegant and inclusive. Together, they see Posh Gallery as more than a space to exhibit art, but as a living platform for dialogue, discovery, and human connection.

Kris Barnett brings more than two decades of experience in art, design, and creative entrepreneurship to her role as Gallery Manager at Posh Gallery. Born and raised in Florida, she grew up in a creative household where both of her parents were artists. Their encouragement to explore and create inspired a lifelong appreciation for art as a form of self-expression and a source of connection.

Her creative career began with designing and selling custom jewelry at local events and home shows, alongside exploring decorative painting on wood. As her practice developed, she began teaching others, eventually opening her own art studio. There, she managed every aspect of the business, from teaching classes and overseeing in-studio and online sales to developing its website and social media presence. This experience gave her a strong foundation in creative business operations, client relations, and personalized service.

At Posh, Kris brings together her artistic background, entrepreneurial experience, and enjoyment of connecting with people. She values listening to visitors and helping them discover artwork that reflects their individual tastes and personal stories. For Kris, choosing art is an opportunity to bring lasting beauty and meaning into everyday life. Her goal is to make every guest feel welcomed, inspired, and confident in finding a piece they will cherish.

With over 34 years of experience in art sales, Lynn Swanson brings a deep passion for art and a genuine connection with clients to the Posh Art Gallery team. Originally from Michigan, Lynn earned her undergraduate degree in K–12 Special Education from Central Michigan University and later received her graduate degree in K–12 Guidance and Counseling from Michigan State University. She spent 16 years working in education and counseling before making a life-changing move to Florida in 1992.

After relocating, Lynn embraced the opportunity to pursue another lifelong passion — the art world. Since childhood, she had always loved attending art shows and collecting artwork, and moving to South Florida inspired her to turn that passion into a career. Shortly after arriving, she co-founded a successful gallery on Las Olas Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale, beginning what would become a decades-long journey in fine art sales and consulting.

Lynn’s background in education and counseling allows her to connect naturally with collectors and help clients find artwork that truly speaks to them. Her warmth, experience, and lifelong appreciation for art continue to make her an invaluable part of the gallery experience.

April brings a diverse background in fine art, fashion, and visual design to Posh Gallery. Her passion for painting and drawing began in childhood and continued through her studies in art, fashion illustration, and fashion design. After moving to South Florida, she attended the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, where she studied fashion illustration, art, and marketing. She also studied and worked in graphic design, further developing her understanding of visual composition and creative expression.

Her professional experience spans galleries, the fashion and magazine industries, and art direction for film and video productions, as well as styling photo shoots. Throughout these creative pursuits, painting and drawing have remained a constant in her life. This varied background gives her a broad perspective on color, composition, and how artwork can contribute to the character of a space.

As both an artist and a Gallery Associate, April values the personal connection between people and art. She approaches the gallery experience with the belief that choosing a piece should feel meaningful and memorable, helping clients discover artwork that speaks to them and becomes part of their own story.

Albina Zorina brings a background in fine art and fashion, along with a versatile creative practice, to her role as Gallery Associate at Posh Gallery. She holds a master’s degree in art and also studied at the London College of Fashion. Her education and professional experience have shaped an artistic perspective rooted in color, depth, and individual expression.

As an artist, Albina works with a wide range of materials and techniques, including acrylics, oils, modeling paste, and airbrush. She believes each idea deserves its own visual language, allowing the concept to guide her choice of medium and approach. This openness to experimentation gives her work a distinctive character and reflects her appreciation for the many ways artists bring their ideas to life.

At Posh, Albina’s experience as a practicing artist offers visitors an informed perspective on materials, technique, and the creative process. In her role as Gallery Associate, she helps clients explore the collection, appreciate the details behind each piece, and discover artwork that connects with their personal taste and surroundings.
