Jerome Glickman

Jerome T. Glickman, Ed.D., FBPA is an artist, educator, and medical illustrator whose career uniquely bridges the worlds of art and science. Born in 1937, his artistic journey began in childhood when his parents enrolled him at the Art Students League of New York, where he remains a Life Member. He later graduated from the School of Medical Illustration at Massachusetts General Hospital, and his illustrations have since appeared in numerous medical journals and textbooks. Glickman earned a Doctor of Education from Boston University and has held academic and leadership positions in medicine, media, and higher education throughout his distinguished career.

Today, Glickman continues to exhibit his work while serving as an Adjunct Professor at Lynn University in Boca Raton, where he teaches anatomy and figure drawing. His art is deeply inspired by the beauty, strength, and expressive power of the human form. While known for figurative expressionism, his Euphoria series moves into abstraction, using vibrant color, gesture, and movement to capture raw emotion and human energy. Through every medium, Glickman seeks to reveal the spirit beneath the surface.
