Sherri Tichner
Sherri Tichner is a contemporary abstract artist known for her resin drip techniques and mixed media compositions. Trained as a pharmacist, she brings a chemist’s precision to the studio, engineering her own resin color formulations and approaching each work as both composition and experiment. Her paintings are defined by high-gloss surfaces, layered pigments, and fluid movement that creates a sense of energy and immediacy across the canvas.
Originally from Cherry Hill, New Jersey, Tichner now divides her time between Atlantic Beach, New York, and Wellington, Florida. Largely self-taught, she has spent decades refining a practice centered on creating vibrant contemporary statement pieces, including large-scale commissioned works tailored to architectural spaces. Her art balances technical control with spontaneity, resulting in compositions that feel modern, dynamic, and emotionally uplifting. Outside the studio, Tichner enjoys golf and has achieved five holes-in-one. Whether through intimate works or monumental installations, her artistic goal remains consistent: to create pieces that bring joy, energy, and connection into the lives of others through color and movement.
